Hello, music fans! It’s Gospel time at the Sopchoppy Opry, Saturday, September 25 -7 pm in historic Sopchoppy School Auditorium!  The annual Gospel show is always special because it features house band South Bound and musical guests who dedicate the entire show to the old and new Gospel favorites!

Special guests for this show will be the Grass Roots Band, one of the area’s most popular acoustical bluegrass Gospel groups! The band performs regularly at Evangel Assembly of God Church in Tallahassee, Florida and is well known for its rendition of the classic Gospel favorites all performed in the bluegrass tradition!  Band leader, David Mast plays banjo; Roger Ryals & twin brother Robin, mandolin;  Andy Edwards and Morgan Sexton flattop guitars with Alex Taylor rounding out the great acoustical sound on the  bass. The group’s members have been playing in bands throughout North Florida for many years, love bluegrass Gospel and decided four years ago to form Grass Roots!

Joining South Bound during the show’s first set will be the dynamic duo of Joel & Glenda! Joel Harrison, one of South Bound Band’s original members returns for this show to sing with Opry favorite, Glenda Sue Bradley!
